All Year Volunteering Opportunities

Sponsorship/Fundraising Team: Seeks out sponsorship from local and abroad companies in cash or in- kind goods or services. Strategized and coordinate fundraisers.

Sales Team: Solicit advertisements for the VegFest Directory and recruit vendors.

Media, Marketing PR Team/Social media Team: Arrange all TV, radio and print media. Seek media partnership. Set up ads. Market festival to targeted groups like schools, churches and fitness clubs. Update info on website, facebook, twitter, you tube, etc

Administration Team: Type letters and distribute, receive info from various teams to keep organization on track.

Security Team: Secures facility by hiring security within budget.

Filming and photography Team: Film year around programs, meetings, tv and radio interviews. Pic of tour, concert and festival

Hospitality Team: Takes care of presenters and artist, facilitates workshops, and usher for year around programs

Venue Team: Find venue, layout venue for festival, organize vendors, venue setup of year around programs

During Festival – 10th-11th December, 2022

Security Team: Secures facility Hospitality Team: Takes care of presenters and artist, facilitates workshops, usher, information booth.

Ticketing Venue Team: Find venue, layout venue for festival, venue setup and breakdown.

Sanitation Team: Keep venue clean inside and out. Web Stream: Setup and monitor live feed Social media: update facebook, twitter, instagram. Monitor membership for websteam

Volunteer Lead

Most of our main venues have been assigned a Volunteer Team Lead. This person will be your main contact for your assigned event. They will also confirm your scheduled date and time to meet with your committee.

Volunteer Attire (during festival)

Volunteers are asked to wear solid black top and solid black bottom. If you are volunteering outside, hat and skin protection is suggested. You may wear black trousers, shorts or skirts. Comfortable shoes are a must. No jeans, under shirts/tank tops, jean, flip flops, if you are unsure, please ask. If you are wearing inappropriate attire, you will not be able to volunteer.

Identification Badges

All Volunteers must wear their festival ID badges at all times during their shift. Remove badge if you are not volunteering and attending an event. Badges will be distributed at the festival’s main venue.


No provisions are available to secure personal belongings. Waist packs are recommended.
